The AshClan camp is well protected by a barrier of brambles. It is located in a large clearing, with plenty of shade. Springy grass grows taller than kits in some places.

The ash forest is a bountiful source of prey. It is the furthest south of all the forests, so prey is much more active in leafbare. Apprentices train in a mossy clearing.

The sandy eastern bank of a great river that flows through all the territories. It is AshClan's border with HollyClan. The current is swift, but not fast enough to sweep away a good swimmer.

A stand of trees that is perpetually gloomy and mysterious. Fog often lingers among the trees in the early mornings, giving the appearance of ghosts watching through the branches. apprentices dare each other to catch prey in the glade.

The HollyClan camp is well-hidden in the center of the holly forest. The Clan resides in a huge badger set abandoned long ago. It has several entrances, making it nearly impossible to besiege.

The holly forest is made up of many diverse trees: maples, beeches, pines, firs, and even ginkgoes. However, the forest (and the Clan) owe the name to the many strands of ivy that twine around the trunks.

A group of boulders was left at the edge of the holly forest by an ancient glacier, providing the cats with an easy source of fresh-kill... and snakebites! Warriors strengthen their muscles by pushing smaller rocks around.

The oak trees in the forest grow tall, denying light to the ground. There is minimal undergrowth, and mushrooms grow on the trees. Through trial and error, cats have learned which ones are poisonous.

OakClan caused a stir when it laid claim to a territory not part of their forest. The hills beyond the oak forest are full of prey, and many cats declared OakClan to be greedy. But the hills have a bad side: they are the territory of foxes.

A silver-leafed willow tree in the hills. Medicine Cats meet here to commune with StarClan, and leaders journey here to receive their nine lives. It is the most sacred place in the territories.
